The problem it solves
Working a Paraform role means copying the spec into your own tools, working out who you already know that fits, and writing an answer to each of the role’s questions for every candidate you submit.
What do I need before I start?
A Professional or Scale plan, or the two-week trial. You also need the HireUp Chrome extension (see Getting started) and candidates in HireUp.
1. How do I send a role from Paraform?
Open the role page in Paraform and click Send to HireUp in the HireUp panel. Add job opens in HireUp with the role title, company and role text filled in. Check them and create the job. Then check and edit the requirements HireUp pulled out, and click Approve & start workflow.
2. How do I find candidates for the role?
The Audience step searches your agency’s own database against the requirements, and you remove anyone who isn’t right. Then the Campaign and Warm network steps work as in any other role, as described in how to start a new role from your database.
3. How do I answer the role’s screening questions?
When the role’s text includes its questions, for example under “What to ask candidates”, they appear in the Screening questions card on the workflow page. Click Answer for a candidate and search for the person by name or email. HireUp drafts an answer to each question from their resume, profile and recent conversations, including call transcripts. Where it doesn’t have enough to go on, it says so rather than guessing.
4. How do I use the answers in Paraform?
Check each answer, copy them, and paste them into your submission on Paraform yourself. HireUp doesn’t submit anything to Paraform.

FAQ
Does HireUp submit candidates to Paraform for me?
No. HireUp drafts the answers, and you copy them into your submission on Paraform yourself.
Where do the screening answers come from?
From what HireUp already has on the candidate: their resume or summary, profile facts and recent conversations, including call transcripts. If that doesn’t cover a question, HireUp says “Not enough information to answer this question.”
What if a role shows no screening questions?
The card shows questions only when the role’s text includes them. If there are none, the card says so and there’s nothing to answer.
Which plans include this?
Workflow is on Professional and Scale, and the two-week trial. The Free and Essential plans don’t include Workflow.
